04.01.2022 Facebook Ban Hammer out in FULL FORCE - Notice. I have just witnessed, in the last 1 hour, tonnes (now hundreds and hundreds since I wrote this) of people posting in groups stating they were suddenly shut down for this reason. Our team manages some 25 accounts and have just had:... - Previously approved rejected for poor business practices (aka MLM) - Ad account selling boots shut down for the same reason Brace yourselves - this election is causing tension and social media takes the hit. Facebook & Twitter are working very hard to stamp out misinformation, unlawful ads & targeting, propaganda disguised as business and the rest. Many will fall victim to this 'ban hammer' and there's a really good chance we will all be reinstated. It is totally predictable for these times (when you have been in the game for several years as we have). Appeal and sit tight. That's all we can do right now, however frustrating that may be! If you are an agency or ads manager, I recommend you inform your clients. We have made the decision not to touch ad accounts today at all. We will audit but we will not be making adjustments unless it is switching something off. We do not want to put anything into review in case it is swept up in this same 'policy violation'. *there have been more shutdowns for no reason since this was written.
