23.01.2022 10 Years Past.... 10 years ago we witnessed the kelmscott Roleystone fire... 10 years ago was the worse day of my life... 10 years ago i had to make the hardest... decisions, choosing which homes to protect and which homes to sacrifice... I remember after we unsuccessfully defended a friends (the keoghs) home.. calling my now wife on the phone in tears, not being able to talk but just cry!!! 10 years ago broke me !!!! 10 years ago i swore that i would do everything in my power to reduce the impact these devastating fires have on our communities... A decade on... I have spent EVERY day pushing myself to make a difference... and as I reflect on the last 10 years, and with the current homes lost in the Wooroloo fire... I asked myself... have i done enough ??? Myself and my partner have built a successful Bushfire mitigation Business with the most amazing Team... I've helped thousands of home owners, businesses and Local Governments to prepare their properties and be bushfire safe. But have i done enough ?? NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!! This year WILL be the turning point !! This year we will get to release the biggest advancement in fire fighting technology... This year we will get to annouce the largest collaboration of independent contractors in Australia... This year we will get to release the most advanced wildfire management technology... This year will be the year it all changes, not just here in WA but the WHOLE of Australia!! We WILL make EVERY Australian community Bushfire Safe!!!! My thoughts and heart goes out too all the firefighters, support staff and communities that have had to endure the past devestating week... times like this will impact you and change your life forever !!!
