21.01.2022 DEBT If youre in debt, there are a few ways you can get yourself out quicker. 1. Do not buy anything you dont really need. ... 2. Sell things which you dont really need. 3. Try and negotiate lump sum payments for a lower interest rate. 4. Do not take out another loan to pay a current debt. 5. Take on side jobs. For instance, if you know how to create a website, take on jobs after hours and use the extra money to pay more of your debt. Other examples include lawn mowing, baby sitting and shift work at night. 6. Take responsibility for your mistake. You must accept the fact that your methods of financial planning were probably not very good, hence why you are currently in debt. So come up with new ways to budget and scrap those old habits which caused you to be in debt in the first place. 7. Sublease/rent rooms in your house, rent your garage out to someone in need of storage, sublease rooms in your office or warehouse if youre a business owner.
