25.01.2022 Our colleagues have developed this terrific set of evidence-informed guides for clinicians working with children on the spectrum with minimally verbal language. Check them out! https://bit.ly/2Df9yRE

24.01.2022 If today was a day like we remember, we would be at the Library with coffee in hand getting ready to welcome our Theory into Practice participants for our holiday workshop. Instead we are both working hard to ensure that Education remains open for all students, irrespective of whether at school or at home. Dont forget, you are not in this alone, we are your tribe and together we are stronger!

23.01.2022 There is nothing as rewarding as to see students flourish in a classroom that meets their needs. If you need some successful strategies to improve your students independence be sure to check out our upcoming workshops on our events page.

23.01.2022 There is a difference between a sensory break and a reward break. We know that our students with Autism have sensory sensitivities, so it should be a given

22.01.2022 We have finally finished writing our Structured Teaching & Learning (TEACCH from our perspective) workshop especially for our mainstream friends. We are super excited and would love for you all to share our page far and wide. Point your buddies to our events page or direct to www.entwinedconsulting.com.au. We launch on the 14th of January 2020

20.01.2022 This week is a special time for me as my journey to become a Certified TEACCH Practitioner draws to an end. The journey for me started 17years ago when I first began teaching in North Carolina. Fingers crossed I am successful during my online interview.

20.01.2022 Sincere apologies to our participants, but due to the unexpected impact of COVID 19 on our community, we have decided to cancel our April workshop. At this stage we will go ahead with our May date, but that may change closer to the time. Refunds have been issued. Take care everyone Jarna and Sam :)

20.01.2022 We are excited and ready to meet our workshop participants !

18.01.2022 Due to the current public health situation we are cancelling our Saturday 28th March 1/2 day workshop. We will reschedule it for a later date. Watch this space for the next workshop. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

18.01.2022 The University of North Carolina National Clearinghouse on Autism Evidence & Practice team at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute has comple...ted their new report on Evidence Based Practices (EBPs). It provides a fabulous resource for families, educators, and clinicians on which approaches are considered "evidence-based." https://tinyurl.com/y933msbk See more

17.01.2022 Happy New Year Everyone! This time of year always brings a buzz of excitement for us at Entwined. I feel the newness of the year is where countless opportunities await us all. It is time to take charge and explore things that are interesting to us. Entwined Consulting is entering its 3rd year of operation and we are excited to follow the opportunities 2020 brings. Already this year I have been busy finally completing my TEACCH Certified Practitioner application. For those ...of you that know me, this has been a journey overcoming my two biggest nemesis procrastination and self-doubt. With lots of support from my family and Jarna, I got there in the end. We have been busy organising some workshops for the first 6 months of the year so be sure to tell your friends and colleagues of the upcoming dates or check out our events page for the links. Our first 2 workshops are booked for 14th Jan with a focus towards mainstream educators and 17th Jan with a focus towards special educators. Tickets are selling fast so make sure you get in quick. Entwined would like to thank you all for your continued support and we wish you all a fabulous and successful 2020! Keep checking in with us to find out what else we are up to during this year.

"Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in a very relateable way." "Enjoyed the workshop very much. So many great ideas. 10.01.2022 It is with regret that due to a lack of interest, which we are hoping is about the time of the year and everyone enjoying their holidays, we have had to cancel our Mainstream Structured Teaching and Learning workshop this Tuesday, 14th January. 10.01.2022 We hope you all had fun getting to know your students for the 2020 school year! Our job as educators of students with special needs at times can be complex and yet oh so rewarding. Remember we have some more Professional Development days booked for February. Feel free to share it with your colleagues.
