Your email inboxes are no exception to this phenomenon. So, what is this "Dark Mode" everyone is talking about? It is an accessibility setting that offers a darker colour palette for low-light or night-time environments. When light backgrounds are detected, they are inverted to dark. Similarly, dark text is inverted to light. When Dark Mode switches on for a person reading their emails, the result is an email with light text on a dark background.
