12.01.2022 Happy International Threatened Species Day! What is your favourite threatened species? Australia is home to more than 500,000 animal and plant species, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. Over the last 200 years, more than 100 animal and plant species have become extinct.... In NSW alone there are close to 1000 animal and plant species at risk of extinction.

07.01.2022 It's NAIDOC Week from the 8th - 15th of this month! These celebrations are held across Australia to celebrate the history, achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The theme for this year is 'Always Was, Always Will Be' - recognising that First Nations people have occupied and cared for our continent for over 65, 000 years. There are many events being held across Australia which invite us to see, hear and learn about our nation's history, which dates back thousands of generations. Why not see if there are any local NAIDOC Week events near you? https://www.naidoc.org.au/get-involved/naidoc-week-events

07.01.2022 Last week, we got to visit this gorgeous property near Coonabarabran, to see if it had potential to be used for biodiversity offsetting - a great opportunity for landholders and conservationists alike! The NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) recommends that a feasibility assessment is the first in a three-step process to assess the biodiversity values of a site for a Biodiversity Stewardship Agreement. TEF have accredited assessors available to complete feasibility asse...ssments, including site investigations, reporting and offset calculations... Interested? Get in touch

07.01.2022 Fauna forensics and threatened species talk with Geckoes Wildlife - an enriching and informative day for all, with some amazing native animals.
