13.01.2022 One of the huge environmental impacts on our landscape when we get heavy rain is erosion. Areas without plants to hold the soil are easily degraded by the shear power of the water. By planting plants like Lomandra you will assist in reducing erosion at your place.

13.01.2022 Due to the Queensland Health advised lockdown commencing from 5pm today for Greater Brisbane, Council Environment Centres (Osprey House, Kumbartcho and CREEC) will be closed Tuesday 30th March - Thursday 1st April and will remain closed for the Easter long weekend, re-opening on Tuesday 6th April pending COVID updates. The nursery will trade its usual hours (closed Good Friday) at this point. Contact the nursery 32643953 if you have any nursery related questions. We ask that you all please keep safe and follow the Queensland Government restrictions and advice.

Design with Nature Workshop -A comprehensive full day workshop in three sessions in which participants prepare their own landscape design under the personal tuition and guidance of landscape architect Lawrie Smith. Roma Street Parklands was one of his signature project. May 1st 9am till 3pm at Yuraba Conference Centre Eatons Hill. Cost $79/person (includes morning tea and lunch).
