17.01.2022 The Bird Watcher! Shhh, be very, very quiet & still, birds tend to scare easily. With many of the shorebirds being migratory, they fly 1000’s of kms to get to Oz so once they get here they need to rest & recharge for the flight home or they’ll be exhausted & may not make the long journey. So, next time you’re on the #beach, try to remember that dog’s & shorebirds don’t mix and help them get home, safe & sound. Thanks!... 14.01.2022 That’s a tiny #crustacean! Like a lobster but No you can’t eat it! They are handy to have around though, if you’re a fish! They clean off parasites from the body of other animals including fish & eels, keeping them hygienically clean. This is an example of a symbiotic relationship, where both #animals benefit from the relationship, the cleaner shrimp wins by getting a free feed & the opportunity to live another day. #funfact ...
