25.01.2022 This is Native Jute (Corchorus cunninghamii), an endangered small shrub endemic to a narrow strip between Brisbane and Lismore. Several important populations occur in the Ormeau and Wongawallan areas of the Gold Coast. This population consisted of around 10 plants, several of which were in flower.

21.01.2022 Recently Envirosphere employees have noticed an increase in flying fox road kills along the M1 Motorway. This is a sign of a wider spread crises with little food sources available, these animals are seeking food in more dangerous and risky areas. Anecdotally the ongoing drought and recent bush fires have led to and exacerbated this crises. To help these little critters follow the link below. #batsqld #SEQ

20.01.2022 The best thing about doing ecological fieldwork is the strange friends you meet along the way! That is one super cute, super ugly face - and no, I don't mean our consultant!

20.01.2022 Have you got questions about environmental constraints and opportunities on your property? Well we are all ears.

20.01.2022 The Envirosphere team was recently lucky enough to head to Pullen Pullen Reserve in western Queensland for a site assessment. Managed by Bush Heritage Australia, Pullen Pullen is home to the night parrot, one of Australia’s rarest birds. While it may be a desolate landscape, the spinifex lands of western Queensland provide a stark beauty that is hard to match, and the team felt privileged to work in such an amazing environment.

13.01.2022 Gold Coast's Bioblitz is coming up and our very own Paul Revie will be leading a night of spotlighting. We are sure he will find something interesting or potentially something you have never seen or heard of before. So if you want to experience Gold Coast's natural beauty and discover something new, go and get your tickets before they sell out.

09.01.2022 Out on survey and surrounded by a family of Yellow-tailed black cockatoos.

07.01.2022 Here's Pat undertaking pre-event impact monitoring for a 50 km ultra run through Lamington and Springbrook National Parks. Unfortunately this was days prior to the bush fires that ripped through Binna Burra and the event was cancelled. Due to good planning and decision making by all involved no one was injured. #Environment #Impactmonitoring #Bushfires #GoldCoast #Hinterland

07.01.2022 Are some survey locations better than others? This one takes the cake for the background. #KirraPoint #GoldCoast #SustainableManagement.
