23.01.2022 It doesn't get any more extreme than this! EnviroStraw was engaged to provide a solution for establishing vegetation on a vertical rock face for the purpose of greening and beautifying these slopes on the Winter Olympic Highway project in the Hebei province of China, near Beijing. The first step was to design and test a soil binder that would hold the screened and sprayed on-site soil where high rates of cement had been used previously. Working with the Beijing university we ...were able to successfully design a soil binder that was economical and proven under lab conditions - allowing for germination and longterm plant establishment whilst holding the soil in place. The process: Install a Geocell confinement mat onto the rock slope Spray on-site screened topsoil via the Hydromulch equipment which included the speciality soil binder 48 hours later, spray our all-in-one Erosion Control Matrix (ECM) and biotic growth media at a 10-ton p/h rate with location specific native seed and cover crop seed species The results to date are exceeding all expectations - design targets are well and truly meeting the desired outcome. Our client needed a way to prevent dirty water from leaving a temporary drain on a Government Main Roads project in Caloundra on Queenslands Sunshine Coast. To mitigate the risk of dirty water seeping through the drain lining, we applied our spray-on erosion control product, GeoSpray, at a rate of 3kg to the m2. ... The results = Eight months later, the GeoSpray membrane is still intact and performing to expectation. The area has received more than 2.4 metres of rain during this period, with some rain events being of cyclone strength.

12.01.2022 GeoSpray in action in Ipswich! The Ipswich City Council required a permanent vegetated drain lining solution that would stand up to natural rain events in the area. Our GeoSpray Original spray-on erosion control product was applied at a rate of 2 kg to the m2. The results = GeoSpray performed as well, providing a permanent solution that looks green and lush. 11.01.2022 GeoSpray in action in Tahmoor, NSW: We were engaged to stabilise railway batters at a site near Tahmoor, NSW. The project involved securing loose shale and rock on the site and minimising erosion. Three passes of our GeoSpray spray-on erosion control was applied to the area, with each pass consisting of a 1kg/m2. Each pass was sprayed from multiple directions to achieve 100% ground coverage.... The results = 100% success! A freak storm passed over the area just four hours after application, bringing with it strong winds and torrential rains exceeding 50mm and hour for two hours. Despite limited curing time, GeoSpray performed beyond expectations and was found intact and unaffected by the storm.

04.01.2022 GeoSpray in action in Berrimah, NT: The site is located in front of Berrimah Business Park, which is just off Stuart Highway near Darwin. At the start of the project, there was no vegetation at all on the site, which is essentially a run-off drain from the highway. GeoSpray was applied to prevent erosion and washouts at an application rate of 1.5:1. Grassing was also applied and the site was irrigated 3 times per day for 15 minutes at a time.... The result = None of the product has washed away since application, and the grass on the area has grown thick and plush through the GeoSpray membrane

We applied our spray-on erosion control product, GeoSpray, at a rate of 3kg to the m2 to prevent water seeping through the drain lining.The GeoSpray membrane is still intact and performing well six months later. More than 300mm of rain has fallen during this period, including several tropical storms!!
