19.01.2022 As we all get ourselves ready to walk into 2021 with our big girl boots on - There are some things I have decided to leave behind in 2020. With a few bittersweet goodbyes, I will be welcoming enormous growth, and embracing a epic rebirth of business. There’s no slowing down this boss Mumma, just resetting, and getting refocused. If you’ve followed our journey this far, I recommend reading through till the end. It might take a minute, but i promise I’ll get to the juicy bits s...hortly! First, is the goodbye. While being caught in the cyclone that was 2020, I’ve come to accept the shocking truth that I cannot in fact, do it all. In 2017 Byron Bay became my home and the true place of healing I heard it was. When I set up shop, I thought I’d never leave. Not long after the COVID-19 pandemic hit and our country went into lockdown, I decided to make the move home to East Gippsland. With a chronic lung condition, battling mental health illness, relationship break down, a young baby and in the first trimester of another high risk pregnancy, my only real option was to be close to family. Now happily settled back in East Gippsland with my young family, The hustle between Bairnsdale and Byron Bay isn’t as realistic as it use to be. After many, many sleepless nights I made to decision to leave Envy and The Barber in Byron Bay, where is belongs. This business took me and my wild dreams every where I needed to go, and now I’m ready to throw myself into the next one. While Envy and The Barber Shop will stay in Byron Bay with my solid ROCK that is Flavio who had made our place his own, alongside a my good friend, Cy, who will be the man behind the business. All this means is that as I close one door, I will kick another BIGGER door wide open. Are you ready for the good part?! BONNIE & CLYDES we will be born at 200 Main St, Bairnsdale. It’s time for us to create a new culture. The next generation are ready to set the bar for the hair and barbering industry in Gippsland. I’ve never been one to do things by halves, so with a new name, comes a new face full of new talent, services and all the bells and whistles. I’ve even bought the shop to go with it Keep yours eyes open friends, the fun has just begun! Coming January 2021. #newyearnewme
