19.01.2022 This is someone I look up to who I believe is a wealth of knowledge in the beauty industry and seeing her and many many fantastic, highly skilled professional and ethical skin and beauty specialists go through this is killing me. As a business when we were closed down for 11 weeks when other businesses without the training in infection control and health and safety were allowed to be open, sent me to a dark place. I cannot begin to imagine how my beauty colleagues are feeling... in Victoria. I support lock downs and monitoring however if one part of our industry is deemed safe then why not the beauty side of the industry???? It’s this separation of industry that is causing the most damage mentally, emotionally and financially. It’s unfair and I believe incredibly damaging.
