24.01.2022 Yesterday was personally one of the hardest Marthons I have ever completed. This is the 4th time I have run the KIC Kangaroo Island Marathon but running two marathons this year, so close together was a real challenge for me. However, I was not going to pass the opportunity up to run again. Although not my fastest KI Marathon, I was ecstatic to run across the line in 4th place and having the support from Mum, Dad and my daughter Zara. I have run many marathons around the world... in China, USA, NZ and around Australia. The KI marathon is absolutely unique. The scenery is spectacular and I cannot think of another event that personally comes close. The course is definitely a challenge and mother nature is totally unpredictable, especially encountering sideways wind and rain running back from Remarkable Rocks. This year our business had the opportunity to help support Nathan, his family and team. We are very proud to be apart of such an iconic event. Congratulations to all that participated and well done Nathan, we look forward to the next one. Cheers Dave Green

We recently worked with Wine Australia to upgrade their Rootstock Selector tool, created to help Aussie winegrape growers. We worked with the client to make sure the tool ticks the boxes, both in the way it looks and the way it works & we certainly wont wine about the way it turned out!

01.01.2022 TEAM BROOK Calling all walkers/joggers/runners/people. Next week we will be celebrating the life of the beautiful Heather Brook at the City to Bay, a significan...t event for Dr Brook. As Team Brook we will be walking/running/jogging in the City to Bay and we will all wear the face of Heather on the back of our shirts - with Team Brook above it. The City to Bay was one of Heathers first goals she set with me and from there, there was no looking back For those that dont know this is a little of Heathers story in her own words... "I couldnt run one kilometer when I started training with Anna, but before long I wondered if maybe I could run the City-Bay (12km). Others had the same question, and we entered, as a team. We cheered each other on through training, then along the course and over the line. Most of us never imagined wed be able to complete such a long run. The thing is, there was no sense that we had to be pushing our limits: instead, Anna invited us to be curious about what we could do, and what we might be capable of, if we gave it a go. I never felt that I had anything to prove, but my curiosity was piqued. If I could run 12km, I wondered, could I run 21.1km? That distancea half-marathon!seemed impossible, but then so had the City-Bay. We were learning, slowly but surely, how ordinary people do extraordinary things. On a cold autumn morning, I lined up at the back of the pack outside Tanunda, about to attempt the Barossa Half-Marathon. I finished third-to-last, in 2 hour 25 minuteslonger than it takes some people to run the full marathonbut celebrated as if Id won an Olympic medal. I kept going back, improving my time every year. At 45, I was fitter and stronger than Id ever been. I tried other classes along the way, but found nothing as sustaining and affirming as Annas programs." Next week we will all be able to celebrate together the positivity that radiated from Heather and wear her proudly on our backs. I am sure her positivity will radiate through us and we can all take a piece of her and celebrate Heather and all her wonderful achievements. Heather will always be remembered for standing up to all of her challenges, so if you think you cant do it - just take Heathers advice - at least if you do it - you will have your answer either way.
