20.01.2022 FAST JET FLYPAST DOWN TOWNSVILLE COASTLINE Townsville locals will have the opportunity to view a RAAF fast jet formation flight down The Strand this afternoo...n! Up to ten F/A-18A/B Hornets from No. 2 Operational Conversion Unit (2OCU) will conduct the formation flight down the coastline before completing a pass of Castle Hill and returning to base at around 3.15pm. It's all part of Exercise High Sierra, which has been taking place since Monday 18th November and will finish up next Thursday 5th December. This will be the last time No. 2OCU bring the F/A-18 Hornet to Townsville before transitioning to the F-35A Lightning II. Will you be going down to watch? : Department of Defence
