COVID-19 could change the working patterns of many businesses and their employees, who were forced by the pandemic to work remotely....now many are not wanting to return to the office workplace after restrictions are lifted. ... According to a survey of 1,000 remote workers, 99% of current remote workers would like to work remotely more often, or at least half the time.

14.01.2022 Particularly at this time with COVID-19, online buying is at an all-time high with click and deliver saving us time and keeping us safe which is great, but reusing passwords isnt!! In Australia, 69% of people mostly or always use the same, or a slight variation of the same password. If a hacker gains access to one of your online accounts, they will then have access to all the others where that password is used. ... Password reuse like this is especially risky with the huge increase in malware and hacking incidents weve been seeing in the last month. Cyber security risks are very real and particularly prevalent at the moment. Try using a password generator or manager, there are many good ones available now...I use LastPass.

08.01.2022 The tech sector has weathered the most disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic quite well. While its too early to know if shifts in tech usage and IT tactics will remain permanent, some areas of technology have clearly seen a boost. The big winner is easy to spot: Demand for video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WebEx has skyrocketed with office meetings and classroom lessons all required to move online during lock-down. More businesses and industries now realise they do not have to travel for important meetings and staff can be very productive working remotely from home....times have changed!!
