15.01.2022 My building has combustible cladding - How does this impact on emergency planning and procedures? In yesterday's Fire Protection Association of Australia seminar, a number of emergency planning consultants and other professions were involved in a workshop case study to develop an emergency plan that could contribute to optimising life safety in these buildings. This process involves a thorough understanding of all factors that need to be considered including fire engineered or life safety features of the facility, characteristics of occupants and human behaviour. This seminar highlighted the changing environment in which we live, work and play and the importance of Continuing Professional Development in our industry.
