Cows with Calves get the accolade today, with a small line of 4 Speckle Park Cows with the...ir 2nd CAF coming in at $5,580. Congratulations to vendors Dale & Robyn Scott from Gippsland and agent Alex Dixon of Elders Korumburra, with the total of 45 C&C offered achieving an average of $4,034 per unit. Following the phenomenal result, Dale commented: "We secured these cattle as weaners out of the drought. With the current season in Victoria and impending La Nina, there is huge confidence in cattle prices for the next 12 months. 03.01.2022 We nervously made a significant investment in Almarlea Pho finish M2 at the Melbourne Show Feature Sale in 2017. Her first calf was a heifer ESM P6 who has just calved a heifer at 23 months),she was then flushed to Eldorado and rejoined to one of our OMG yearling bulls to calve in Autumn,presenting us with twins that she is doing a great job raising. We put one of her Embryo’s in a recip.with another heifer born. She has impressed with her fertility, do-ability and her exceptional temperament. Pretty happy now with the investment.!!
