25.01.2022 Our Larapinta trail journey is the heart and soul of our business and for me has always been a place of great physical and emotional significance. It's where our business began and it is a wonderful environment to reconnect with nature, and simplicity and take stock of what is important in life. At a time when we often find ourselves challenged by the stresses of local and world events, this amazing walk offers the opportunity to disconnect, relax, sleep under the huge star s...tudded sky, walk through an ancient landscape and enjoy stunning food and wine around the campfire each evening. This year we're delighted to have a number of our much-loved guides from 2019 returning for our 2020 season. After receiving amazing feedback about our guides over the 2019 season, we know you'll be in for a treat this year with our sensational team taking care of you. 20.01.2022 The last week of April and the first week of May has for the past 15 years, been the time when we build our camp on the Larapinta trail ready for our walking season. This year the season has been cancelled due to the covid 19 virus and the very wise move on the part of the NT government and all local Land Councils, to close borders and enforce strict rules to protect the health of indigenous communities. We absolutely support this decision and it has been very effective. I have however over the past few days felt a twinge of homesickness for our beautiful camp, Alice Springs and the friends who live there, the Tjoritja /West MacDonnell National Park and our wonderful guides who have been an integral part of this fabulous tour. So here’s a little post to show what we’d be normally doing during these weeks.

18.01.2022 Yesterday would have been the first day on our May Camino de Santiago tour when the group meets in Bilbao before travelling to St Jean Pied de Port via San Sebastian for a delicious pintxos lunch. Today’s walk is one of my favourites when we take the spectacular path over the magnificent Pyrenees from France into Spain. Thankfully it will be waiting for us when we return in April/May next year. Dream on and Buen Camino to all our wonderful guests who are joining the 2021 departures. #epicurioustravelcaminodesantiago

Tell me where he’s traveled?’ I wonder about that, do we get smarter, more enlightenment as we travel? Does travel bring wisdom? I think there is probably no better place to find out than Peru. - Anthony Bourdain

Stay safe and keep dreaming.
