19.01.2022 Is there enough purple in this photo for #PurpleDay2021 ? I went to town with a purple bow, purple dress, purple scarf, purple necklace, purple nails on fingers and toes, purple eyeshadow. James and Stephen have purple shirts. The opera house decked out in purple to join us. Happy Purple day

19.01.2022 Purple wiggle for purple day! Ha ha ha my niece would be thrilled https://fb.watch/3tDeL7PU7s/

17.01.2022 I couldn't imagine feeling safe without my medicalert bracelet. There is a risk that people won't check or see it, and a challenge But you need to compromise with what is practical. When I was overseas in the two-thirds world I wore the purple one below. But its hardly stylis.h and I have trouble with water getting trapped under the band, and with wearing it in the shower. Often that's where you need it most. I also had a cute leather one for a while, but I couldn't wear it 24/7. As soon as I forgot and wore it in the shower it fell apart. Instead I wear a simple silver one. It literally hasn't left my wrist in years, and its still perfectly good.

16.01.2022 In case you have been living under a rock 26 March in PURPLE DAY that's epilepsy day. APparently these sorts of things are happening. We will have our purple day event on Sunday 28th But we will NOT be eating purple bananas or throwing purple paint all over ourselves. Is anyone else doing a purple day thing? https://youtu.be/IbGRLvVq3qI

15.01.2022 HOw do your meds affect your emotions? Mine screw mine up so badly I don't know what my own emotions are any more. Some meds like lamictal and epilim and tegretol can stabilise your emotions. Some, like Keppra and zonegran can be downers. But fycompa seems to just magnify whatever I'm feeling and bring it to the surface. What's this got to do with the picture? if you can get past the cutest cutest baby in the picture (my nephew Samuel awwww), you will notice me crying and fa...ce-palming. That's because, thanks to my current med situation, I can't control my emotions. I have known about this for a while, but this time, it really got in the way. I just couldn't stop crying. It was our birthday, and we were taking pictures with my nephew, but I couldn't stop crying. They weren't happy tears either. If you are changing meds or taking meds, always pay attention to your emotional state and be aware of it. Its the kind of thing others can't really notice for us, but ask them to keep an eye out. How do your meds affect your emotions? See more
