The operating conditions associated with mineral processing often require materials of construction that can withstand process acids and acid chlorides at temperatures up to 90C. However, these tanks had to be fully supported to the concrete foundation, otherwise they can crack and leak during service. This reservoir will significantly increase the fresh water capacity for the Douglas Shire when it is commissioned. The lining system uses EpiMax 225 Render and EpiMax 333AR.... The installation is being undertaken by Spillers Quality Corrosion Control from Cairns.
