25.01.2022 What percentage of companies always document their business practices? You’d be surprised to learn that only 2% of businesses do. The key word here is ‘always’ because 96% of businesses reported that while they do document some of their processes, it’s just not a regular practice. And only 11% of respondents said they never documented their business processes while 1% said that they documented their more standard practices. #businessprocesses #documenting #statistic

24.01.2022 A high growth organisation can bring out the best in people as they dig deep and deliver across multiple functions. But what if they’re struggling with time management? Make staff engagement core to your business strategy ... 2. Turn your employees into stakeholders of themselves and the organisation 3. 20.01.2022 When it comes to business processes, which is best top-down or bottom-up? A top-down approach starts at the top and ends at the bottom. This model is often used in more complex organisations. The first step defines the work process after the start and end-triggers have been modelled. Other work processes are then developed in a similar manner before a work instruction level can be formed. Finally, each process step is assigned a role and system. The bottom-up method is used by process designers who first define each of the process steps beginning with the start-trigger. They then develop each of the process steps until the end-trigger is reached. Once each of the process steps has been developed, a structure can be introduced. Which approach is best for your business? Top-down or bottom-up? #topdown #bottomup #businessprocess

19.01.2022 What are the top five benefits of Business Process Management (BPM)? The first benefit is cost efficiency. BPM streamlines business operations and collaboration, automates repetitive tasks, improves product quality and reduces corporate risks. And then there is agility. BPM facilitates the design of flexible processes that respond to organisational learning in the market place. And what about compliance ease and visibility? BPM assists companies to build compliance into their business practices. Following next is customer focus. BPM helps organisations to acquire and retain satisfied customers. Last but not least is staff satisfaction. Developed and documented business processes motivate team members as does automating repetitive workflows, allowing staff to focus on the things they do best. #BPM #businessprocess #business
