The original home was designed, and hand-built, by our Client's forestry expert father. It really is an incredible building to experience and hear the story behind every piece of timber from the craftsman himself. The extension we designed allows for independent inter-generational living, yet with the ability to be close by and connected, as little or as much as desired. @alain.bouvier_photographer

09.01.2022 Architecture takes time, sometimes a really, really long time and when under construction, my typical day consists of builder queries, client changes and endless detailing decision which make it easy to forget the initial thrill of the design phase. Today one of our projects is almost complete and our lovely client presented me with a gift for creating her dream Definitely a nice way to end the week and give that happy client warm fuzzy feeling all designers love.... now where are those sake cups?!?
