They shall have items for display and sale, and will have their knitting machine there for demos. 21.01.2022 The Tatters’ Guild of Australia (NSW Branch) is another of our talented user groups at ECC. Tatting is a unique method of making lace. Lace is made by producing knots using a shuttle & thread. The Tatters group brings together people interested in lace making, where they can learn and develop their tatting skills and exchange information on tatting.... Come along on Saturday 29th October and admire the beautiful lace and learn about the tatting process.

18.01.2022 ** Castle Hill RSL Pipe Band ** The pipe band will be playing some sets during the day to get people tapping their toes and humming along. The Band was formed in the 1930’s as the Epping and District Pipe Band before becoming the Castle Hill RSL Pipe Band. They enjoy sharing their Scottish heritage through their music.... The Band offers tuition for beginner Pipers and Drummers of all ages. Anyone who is interested in joining the band or learning more about these ancient instruments and how a pipe band works, come up and say g’day to the band on Saturday!

16.01.2022 *** The Sydney Woodcarving Group *** Come and see the Sydney Woodcarving Group at the Epping Creative Centre when at the Arts, Crafts and Recreation Fair! We will be demonstrating woodcarving and also have work pieces produced by our members on display.... Why not have a go at woodcarving while there, we will supply tools and timber for keen enthusiasts! Saturday 29th October at Epping Creative Centre

15.01.2022 ** Leather workers Guild ** The Leatherworkers Guild was established over 25 years and our past President Mrs Pat Oliver was part of the team that helped set up the Epping Centre and her name can be seen on the plaque in the Foyer in the hall as recognition. The Leatherworkers Guild holds workshops 6-8 times a year and a variety and diversity of leather projects are made with the expertise, knowledge and skills of many tutors in Australia.... The classes are for all skill levels from Beginners to Advanced, but do not feel you cannot come to a class because your skill is inadequate. Everyone has to start somewhere. The members of the Guild are happy to help and give assistance in any workshop. So if you are interested in attending one our workshops please do not hesitate to come along and have some fun and meet new friends.

09.01.2022 What a great day at the ECCs Arts, Crafts and Recreation Fair! Our User Groups certainly have many talented people. It was really interesting to see & hear about what the groups do. There were some amazing displays. Thank you to all the people who came along today & congratulations to all our lucky door prize winners ... A big thank you to all the groups who put on a display, those that ran the sausage sizzle and all who helped set up and clean up. It certainly made for a fun day!

02.01.2022 On Saturday 29th October 2016, the Epping Creative Centre is holding an Arts, Crafts & Recreation Fair from 10am-2pm. Everyone is invited to come along and experience what our varied & talented User Groups do! There will be a sausage sizzle & cold drinks available as well as a coffee van and an ice-cream van!... 01.01.2022 ** Smocking Arts Guild ** The Smoking Arts Guild meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10am or 7pm in Mathews Room. We are a not for profit organisation and make 5 sizes of tiny smocked gowns for stillborn and premmie babies in NSW hospitals as our community project.
