24.01.2022 Theres a big difference in colour and finish when you Acra-Shield over the texture. Not only do you get an extra 3 yrs warranty the texture is sealed, uv protected, the colour is much stronger, mould spores wont grow and dirt will clean off easily

13.01.2022 Does your acrylic render look like this? Is the colour fading or can you brush off the sand particles with your hand? This is because the texture hasnt been over coated with Acra-shield to protect it and to prolong its life. 2 coats later and its back to brand new again.

08.01.2022 Pictures from a recent Hebel Job, we did a full-mesh render, texture and finished with a Coat of Acra-shield. You can see the difference in the colour from texture to Acra-shield. In one of the pics you can see the difference a coat of Acra-shield makes in the colour. We strongly recommend that all texture coat is painted with at least one coat of Acra-shield. to prevent UV damage, mould ingress, fading and fretting of the texture. It also stops dirt getting into all the pores and makes it easier to maintain.

06.01.2022 Pics of a top floor extension going in at Ocean Reef for summit home improvements, we did the render, texture and protective painting on this project, as you can see how close they are to the Ocean you would be crazy not to coat your texture with a protective coating. 05.01.2022 A recent 1st floor insert pod we did in the Summit Factory. The photos show the stages of the Acra-shield going on, this client went for 2 coats which gives a 15 year warranty on the finish. If they had not Painted they would have to scaffold out the entire house to paint the texture in 7 - 10 years time, making it a massive job down the track.

02.01.2022 Summit Home Improvements ground floor rendering, 1st day scratch coat to the brickwork. When the brickwork is deep jointed a scratch coat is required to ensure the float coat goes on an even substrate and bonds properly, you won't see the bricks through the render when it's finished. We used a stop bead on the blueboard and the render to allow movement between the two substrates.
