23.01.2022 It’s been clean up day again at Lost Property! Named items have been returned to student school bags for their much needed trip home for a wash! However..., unnamed items are photographed below and should go home if recognised. You are welcome on school grounds to collect items recognised ensuring that you adhere to social distancing guidelines. There is a lot here and we would really like to find their homes again as we do not want to send them to landfill.

22.01.2022 Last night our native bee hive was ready to split! Thank you to Mr O'Connor and his bee-tastic helpers we now have two hives! One of them will go to Mr O'Connor's house for a while, to give the bees time to select a new Queen! Lost property has been sorted this morning. Named items have been returned to students and placed in school bags to return home for a much needed wash. 12.01.2022 With "back to school" just around the corner it's time to check that last year's uniform still fits our growing kiddos. If you need to urgently top up your student's kit, our uniform shop will be open on Wednesday and Thursday the 20th and 21st of January from 9-11am. We need to abide by all the current regulations so masks will be mandatory for entry and service. Customers will be limited to two at a time in store so we appreciate your patience in advance. If your need isn'...t urgent it would be great if you could wait until school returns - the shop will be open on the 27th from about 9am to 11am and will hopefully be operating without current restrictions. If you are picking up a Flexischools order on either day please collect from the table outside the shop and sign the sheet provided. Thanks all!

05.01.2022 The P&C were the recipients of the Queensland Government Community Road safety grant in 2019. The grant has allowed us to produce road safety signage designed by our students, install signage at the Drop-off/Pick-up zones and our students produced a road safety video. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we have been unable to have our community launch event, although we would like to share with you our Road Safety video, thank you to our students for such a powerful message....remember kids will be kids, you be the adult. #roadsafetyweek #ep4me #epssrocks

04.01.2022 Welcome back!! We hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays and are looking forward to the 2021 school year! Please remember to follow our Drop-off and Pick-up processes to help everyone have a smooth transition back to school. STOP, DROP AND GO: *Staff will be at the gates from 8:30am to welcome our children to school. Our staff wear fluro yellow vests so that they are easily recognisable for our children. *Children will attend the Terraces until our first bell at 8:45am.... *Children will then attend their classroom. *Our bell at the end of the day goes at 3:00pm. Please inform your child which gate they need to attend for pick-up. Staff will be at the gates to support children for pick-up. *Any children who are not collected by the 3:15pm are walked to the office for safety reasons. CLASSROOM DROP-OFF: *All parents/carers are welcome onsite to drop off their children. If you arrive prior to 8:45am, please wait with your child on the Terraces. *When the first bell rings you are welcome to attend your child’s classroom with them. *Please be aware of the maximum capacity of each room there is a sign on the doors of classrooms. Most of our classrooms can hold a maximum of 9 or 10 adults at one time. Please be patient and mindful of this so that everyone can have a positive first day at drop off. *If anyone other than the child’s parent/carer is dropping off, please ask them to sign-in at the office prior to drop-off so that we have a record of their details should these be required. Parents/carers are not required to sign-in as we already have these details. PREP DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP: *Prep parents/carers drop-off and pick-up from outside their classroom please ensure that you wait at the bottom of the ramps and stairs and that you are not on the verandahs. We ask this so that the children are able to finish their day and exit their classroom in an orderly fashion. It will also enable parents/carers to maintain physical distancing from each other. If your child is attending OSHC, the staff from PCYC will drop your child off and collect your child from the classroom on your behalf. REMINDERS FOR ADULTS ONSITE maintain physical distance of 1.5m maintain good hand hygiene stay home when sick wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible
