15.01.2022 EQ-IQ Academy is committed to the health and safety of all its students and staff, for weeks all of our tutoring sessions have been available via an interactive online, digital platform. This has enabled our wonderful staff and students to work from home during this time. As restrictions begin to ease some of our students are returning to face to face tutoring. As excited as we are about this, it does not mean we are relaxing our dedication to the health and safety of our sta...ff and students. In accordance with state legislation and Covid safe guidelines our facility has been reconfigured to ensure the minimum of 1.5 metre distance can be maintained at all times, deep cleaning and sanitising of all areas and equipment between sessions and alternating rooms each session to allow for adequate time for cleaning to take place. We have hand washing facilities and sanitiser available to every person who enters. Any staff of student who is unwell or symptomatic are asked to stay home and use our online option or reschedule for another time. We are about creating happy hearts and bright minds... in a Covid safe environment with staff and student safety being paramount. See more

04.01.2022 We have had a number of enquiries from parents who are seeing their child/ren struggling with the idea of returning to school. Many saying that there seems to be a shift from a child who previously had no issues with attending school or even enjoying it to suddenly becoming upset or distressed by it. Whilst we can provide enjoyable and engaging sessions that can reconnect students with a positive mindset and attitude towards learning and academic growth, here is an article from Headspace Dubbo that provides some information about school refusal and some strategies to support students who are struggling with this.
