Maybe Bundy fuelled pub fights in club meetings, threats of violence, deformation, lies and yes the getting rid of the Burnouts for completing false reasons has finally been hit by the Karma train. 25.01.2022 HAMILTON WINS OPENING ROUND Brisbane’s JJ Hamilton has won the opening round of the Speedway Sedans Australia Toowoomba City Junior Sedans Series. Hamilton was... challenged numerous times during an exciting feature race but was able to hold off all challenges and narrowly win round one by 0.211 seconds ahead of Kaine Richters and Brodie Hollyman. The new stars was taken out by Roma’s Brodie Shepherd who mastered the Toowoomba venue on first visit to beat home Toowoomba’s Bailey Payne and Cooper Flynn. The Junior Sedans put on a terrific show all night with nailing biting and action packed racing that had the crowd cheering for more. A brilliantly prepared raw track meant their was hardly a stoppage all night until the feature when Rockhampton’s Bre Larson was tagged by another driver coming out of turn two which resulted in her car rolling over. Larson was unhurt in the incident. On behalf of everyone involved in the series including our round sponsor Firebrand Queensland that put up some great prizes and sample bags for each of the drivers that attended, we’d sincerely like to thank you all for supporting the opening round and our quest to build Junior Sedan racing in Toowoomba. Winterburn’s contribution to Queensland and Australian drag racing involved an incredible 54 years of continuous service since he volunteered as a 17-year-old official at the Surfers Paradise International Raceway in 1966. Clean up starts today to reduce the spread of raw sewerage and other toxic things that could make the community sick in the upcoming weeks.
