20.01.2022 Have you ever had to decide to refer a horse for colic surgery? Have you ever thought about what you would do if you had to make that choice at short notice? Staff at the Camden Equine Centre, University of Sydney are conducting a survey into owner knowledge and attitudes toward colic surgery. They are investigating if there are trends between the owner demographics and previous experience with colic, and whether owners elect to send horses for emergency surgery. Please help ...our friends at Camden Equine Centre and take a few minutes to do this survey on the decision for or against colic surgery. The information you provide may help future veterinarians better understand how they can support horse owners whilst they make this difficult decision. This results from the survey will hopefully allow for better insights into the horse owners’ understanding of outcomes of colic surgery and lead to the development of better information resources for owners. The survey consists of about 20 questions and should only take about 20 minutes of your time. 18.01.2022 DRAW UPDATE - this affects EvA60 and EvA80 riders ONLY. Updated as per 4.45pm Friday 2nd August Unfortunately we have had to make a last minute change to the draw which affects the 60cm and 80cm classes for cross country times. The 60cm cross country will now begin at 12 noon, followed by the 80cm commencing at 2pm. The new revised draw can be found on our competitors page below and the link is also being emailed direct to riders. The new cross country times do not take i...nto consideration multiple rides, therefore please ensure all EvA60cm horses cross country between 12 noon and 1.45pm, and EvA80 must cross country between 2pm and 4pm. We understand riders with multiple rides will need to ride out of order, please advise Karen in the cross country warm up and she will fit you in as necessary. http://www.equestriad.com.au/competitors

18.01.2022 HUNTER TRIALS INFO Sunday 26th July **We will have strict rules in place regarding this training day which will be as follows**... 1. We will not be accepting on the day entries this year 2. We ask that you print your back number prior to your arrival, WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE 3. Please limit your support team to one person per rider 4. Keep social distancing guidelines in mind when you are required to interact with others on the venue 5. Please do not hang around, come and ride and leave as soon as possible once you are finished 6. We will have skeleton staff in the office, please do not come to the office unless absolutely necessary and if it is required, sanitise your hands prior to entry and keep 1.5m from others Anyone found to be not adhering to these guidelines will be asked to leave the venue. Camping will be available on Saturday night and can be booked through the below link. 14.01.2022 CAMDEN JUMP CLUB - please note that the date for Jump club this weekend has been moved and will now run this coming Saturday, 13th April instead of Sunday 14th April, and will be held in the campdraft area. Eventing NSW are also running their development / Intermediate clinic at Camden on Friday and Saturday, which gives you the opportunity to school over the cross country course from Equestriad, and then jump a round at jump club on Saturday as well if you wish! Places for the clinic are still available in both Development (60cm to 95cm) and Intermediate (95cm an above). You can book via the link below. 11.01.2022 The committee have looked at the options for running the Hunter Trials on Saturday, taking into account the EA Hot Weather Policy and including ideas such as moving the start time and providing a misting tent, but in the end, it has been decided that unfortunately the Hunter Trials will need to be CANCELLED. All riders that pre-entered will receive a refund. We will endeavour to find another date in the future to run this day. Sorry to disappoint everyone as we know this is a popular start to the season. Look forward to seeing you at our event in April.

09.01.2022 EVENTING | It has been a great day so far for our High Performance Squad riders at Equestriad 2019 in the TRM CCI4*-S. Olympian Shane Rose Eventing and his WEG ...ride Virgil are in the lead after the dressage phase of the competition with a score of 26.40, followed by Stuart Tinney in 2nd and 3rd place. High Performance Next Squad members Jessica Rae and Jade Findlay round out the top 5 in 4th and 5th place respectively. We thank you for your support over the past few years. We are however hosting our annual Hunter Trials on 1st Feb which will have show jump rounds available up to 1m20. 05.01.2022 CAMDEN JUMP CLUB will be running this coming Sunday 7th July commencing at 9am. We will have two rings operating in the main arena starting with 60cm in ring one and 90cm in ring two. Fees are $10 per round, and $40 day membership if you do not already hold a yearly membership. We look forward to seeing you there!
