25.01.2022 We just had our first workshop here in Dubbo. We were excited to share the new opportunity of personal development facilitated through our horses, and we enjoyed sharing the experience with new and old friends!! We loved watching our vision come alive!! We are getting primed for our second workshop this Saturday and looking forward to connecting with more of the Dubbo community in the presence and through the nature of the horse.

25.01.2022 Exciting times. I have just received a delivery of leaflets leading up to our taster courses in March. I will be handing them out to schools and local business and government agencies in the next few weeks with some info and taking bookings for our courses. Looking forward to working with our horses and you guys to grow ourselves and others in this unique way.

20.01.2022 Eclipse is living in Dubbo and only gets to see Cherry every 4 to 6 weeks. It is amazing how connected he is, how much he communicates he has missed her. He certainly knows she is his human!!

19.01.2022 Open for business.Taking individual session bookings from now. Free taster workshops starting in March. Looking forward to meeting you!

19.01.2022 With drought conditions continuing we have decided to turn our large yard into a part time paddock for the horses to escape the heat and graze something green. The front yard will follow!!

19.01.2022 We are located behind Turf The Lot on the northern side of Dubbo. Between Purvis Lane and Troy Bridge Road on the western side of the highway. Enter between the stone walls and drive down the road in the middle of the farm and turn left when you reach the fence. Park at the buildings in the corner.

19.01.2022 Eclipse has gone from a horse that was really needle shy to standing and accepting his needles. Cherry has been working on preparing him using information from the Parelli's on needle prep. Also she has been working with his hind feet, becasue he still hadn't surrendered his feet to Cherry. It all came together last thurday when he stood and took his needle without striking or flicking his head and calmly stood to have his teeth done. WELL DONE CHERRY!! Thankyou Parelli!!

19.01.2022 In this age of communicating via text, behind screens and through headsets, much of the nuances of tone and body language are lost. The ability to even pick up on these subtle, yet critical signals is being diminished. So much of what we communicate and the communication we receive from others is carried in our bodies rather than our words. Horses only have body language with which to speak. they give clear unbiased feedback. Come along to our "Increasing Communication Thro...ugh Body Language" workshop, communicate using body language, receive some feedback from our equine facilitators. Hope to see you there.

16.01.2022 Equine Enrich endeavours to involve participants in a process of personal growth. One of our workshops has at its core AWARENESS. One of the first steps towards any kind of personal growth is awareness ... the first awareness we need to attune to is a deeper understanding of ourselves ....one of the keys to knowing ourselves is to attune to our "internal script". What thoughts run though our mind, what resistance is there, what over-riding feelings come up for us.This will ...help us discover what story/ narrative we are telling ourselves. We all have a narrative, a story that is pieced together through our environment and experiences beginning from our earliest development. The memories attached through emotion become an outlook, a tinted lens that we view the world through. It is not a conscious act but intrinsically woven into our subconscious. Uncovering the "story" or "stories" we are telling ourselves is a fundamental step to growth. An opportunity is presented through our sessions and workshops to deepen our awareness. We invite you to join us!

15.01.2022 So far I am good to go with the workshops. I have one last call to make. Will keep everyone posted.

09.01.2022 Thought of the day

09.01.2022 Escaping the heat is our priority atm at EE. Days in the house yard, hose offs throughout the day and evening river swims are the activities of the week for the horses. I ride and lead a horse each side and Morocco follows behind footloose and fancy free. The horses enjoy the shelter of the trees then we toddle back down to the paddock for a swim or dinner in the late evening. I am so thankful for a green yard and a riverside property to ease the heat and the dry!!

06.01.2022 Summer is settling in very nicely with the rest of the herd here. She is such a sweet little thing

06.01.2022 In our culture we often give young people the impression that when they hit 21 they are all grown up. Like there is no more growing to do, and though people aspire in their professional life, in education, intellectually and might commit to eating well and keeping fit, there is little said about growing our character to maturity. From little children we slowly take responsibility from our parents, from walking and eating by ourselves to homework and household chores. As paren...ts we endeavor to help our children mature, we look after their needs and then train them to begin to take over responsibility for themselves. We have graduations, sports awards and the big birthday parties at 18 and 21. We throw the keys and declare they are now adults but little is said of the ongoing responsibility we all have to continue on to maturity. In fact, rarely is maturity given definition for us. Yet we all feel the weight of a co-worker who fails to do their share of the work, a friend who is always getting into situations where they need rescuing, a person who blames everything and everyone around them but fails to recognise re-ocurring patterns in their lives where they are at the center. We all have areas we need to grow in, I don't believe we ever arrive, but we do pass milestones of maturity. Desiring to grow characters and being intentional about it seem to contribute greatly to our rate of growth. Equine Enrich would delight to be a part of your catalyst for personal growth.

01.01.2022 Hi all! As we have reflected in the isolation and social distancing that is in effect, we can see a need for people to have somewhere to go to get away from it all. somewhere outside the home in a therapeutic setting with time for reflection and processing, where people can go back home. refreshed and new life-skills. I have been contacting the government business and health agencies trying to get some information on running workshops. We are in a grey area with our business.... I will know soon if we are eligible to run workshops, and in what capacity and what numbers of participants we can have. If we run workshops again they would be run meeting social distancing guidelines. We will be conducting short 2 hour workshops in the open air with minimal to no contact. We will have hand regular hand washing available, 1.5 m distances, and a maximum of 5 participants (?). This would provide people with somewhere to go in the fresh outdoors, with peaceful surroundings, some connection with others, re-calibration, refreshment, time and space all acting as a stress relief valve in uncertain times We will keep you posted of our progress
