05.01.2022 This week I gave a lesson to the granddaughter of a family friend. It’s been almost 7 months since I gave a lesson to a complete beginner. I must admit that thinking about it afterwards I became a tad emotional, I realised just how much I miss that part of it. I find every lesson I coach rewarding; however, there is something really special about helping a rider (young or old) through their first ride/s on a horse. Watching them work through the initial hesitation and uncer...tainty, and seeing the spark of joy and then the love for the horses and our lifestyle grow, is honestly one of the best feelings in the world! (Picture is of my youngest son enjoying some horse time )
