Can you consciously create a state of relaxation in yourself? Regardless of what’s happening around you? Is your inner emotional state conditional to your external environment? Relaxation is something that a lot of us struggle with these days. But what most people don’t know is, Relaxation is a SKILL, and you are only as good as your practice. Relaxation and emotional regulation in my opinion, are one of the most important skills to learn and strengthen as a horseman, and as a human, and here’s why... Every living creature has an electromagnetic field around them. Our thoughts and emotions directly affect our electromagnetic field, which energetically affect those around us, whether we are conscious of it or not. And one of the first things that will get tipped off in both horse or human, is the nervous system. As the ultimate prey animal, their electromagnetic field is about 5 times larger than ours. It makes them highly attuned to everything around themincluding us. This is why horses can be profound healers....when someone understands how to read them. 90% of everything you do in a day is subconscious. Thoughts, emotions, and habits are programs running like a computer behind the scenes. Only 10% of our day do we have conscious awareness of. Whatever is happening subconsciously, is interacting with the field. And the horse picks up on that. Bringing our subconscious into awareness is a journey, and a massively healing one. The 10% of you that is conscious can bring awareness to what programs are operating, and if they are ones you want to modify or uninstall completely. I have WAY over simplified that process but it’s an important piece to at least understand, and the horses will be waiting for us when we do. YOU are the ENERGETIC leader of your LIFE.
