24.01.2022 Well done to Wolfe Tone and connections. 2nd win on the trot over the sticks

22.01.2022 A lovely sunny day yesterday and horses asleep left, right and centre :-)

21.01.2022 The kids have had a big day. They've been off to school camp being weaned, learning to lead and tie up. Today they had their feet trimmed, were branded and then had a float ride back home. Happily playing in the paddock now :-)

20.01.2022 The only word needed to explain this is Gippsland! :-)

18.01.2022 After spending hours having to look at various sources, I decided to do my own list of stallions standing at stud this year and have posted the list here https://forum.thoroughbredvillage.com.au/victorian-stallion If you know of any more or have updates, let me know

16.01.2022 JB arrived here late yesterday. He's settling in and filling his gut with lush green grass. Happy Birthday to all the horses

16.01.2022 Is he excited to see me? Excited that meals on wheels are making their way down the lane? Any volunteers to do the feed run? Luckily I ensure the horses behave when I actually get in the paddock, but it's great to see them feeling so well :-)

15.01.2022 Gippsland may not be the warmest place around (thank goodness), but it sure grows good grass. By mulching excess grass in paddocks, it breaks down and feeds the soil

13.01.2022 I just moved the brood mares and they are having a wow of a time

13.01.2022 JB is a bit excited to have been moved to a fresh paddock. Great to see them feeling so full of life :-)

09.01.2022 It's obviously afternoon siesta time here - horses flat out everywhere

06.01.2022 This is the sedate version. When I wasn't filming he really went to town :-)

03.01.2022 Lucy (chestnut) and Malcolm (Bay), 2 and a half year old three quarter sisters (yes, Malcolm is a filly :-)) wintering well
