19.01.2022 Congratulations Amanda Ross Eventing and the magnificent #kokopoppingcandy - fellow EIAF passenger who flew with us (and other elite horses) to WEG in 2018. #eiaftransported #yourhorseisourpriority #eventing #horseoftheyear

19.01.2022 This week EIAF transported 15 polo ponies from New Zealand to India. Firstly they were transported on a charter flight on DHL from Auckland to Sydney, followed by a flight on Cathay Pacific Cargo to Hong Kong and then onto Delhi. These horses have endured a long and tiresome trip from Auckland to Delhi said EIAF Professional groom Alam Dastani. However, they have travelled well and handled the situation exceptionally. A huge congratulations to Tasman Cargo Airlines, Cathay Pacific and the ground handlers Menzies Aviation for making this journey as seamless as possible and also to the entire EIAF team who continue to put horses first and foremost in their planning. #yourhorseisourpriority #eiaftransported #werestillflying

14.01.2022 Here’s a quick look at how horses actually get on a plane.

13.01.2022 The border closure in Western Australia didn’t stop EIAF working with Chris Calthorpe’s Air Horse Transport, to relocate 3 valuable racehorses on a domestic flight to Perth yesterday evening. The trio included OTI Racing’s Gailo Chop trained by Matthew Williams Racing and two stars from the Godolphin Stables of James Cummings- Godolphin in Kementari and the runner up in last week’s Manikato Stakes & $5m earner Trekking. These three horses have been earmarked to contest the WA feature G1 races Railway Stakes, Winterbottom Stakes or the Kingston Classic at Ascot Racecourse. Reports back from the professional flying groom is that all travelled well overnight and had the entire aircraft to themselves for the journey. Best of luck to the connections in WA - Racing and Wagering Western Australia - RWWA

10.01.2022 #Derbyday HUGE RESULT for EIAF Professional Flying Racing creates some special stories - with another on Saturday with the running of the prestigious Victorian Derby at Flemington. A horse names "Johnny Get Angry" trained by a guy better known as AFL 2 time winning premiership coach in Denis Pagan and an apprentice jockey - Lachlan King with their first Group 1. Johnny Get Angry is a Kiwi bred maiden by Tavistock and was prepared for sale by EIAF Professional Flying Groom - ...Casey Dando. Selected by Troy Corstens from Malua Bloodstock, at the 2019 Karaka Yearling Sale, it was Casey & Michelle Dando's Bradbury Park that offered the horse. Casey said - "it didn't matter what sort of feed I threw at him, he just didn't fill up. He went to the sales looking a big, lean tank but remained a very athletic horse". Casey certainly knows how to look after horses well - both on the ground and in the air! Congratulations to all involved. 04.01.2022 Another group of nice horses were transported domestically from Sydney to Perth last week by EIAF & Chris Calthorpe. Two talented horses trained by Grant Williams for owner Mr Bob Peters headed back to WA to potential contest the Kingston Town Classic G1 Superstorm and Windstorm. Also on board was the $2m earner Trap for Fools trained by Lindsay Smith also targeting the Kingston Town Classic on Dec 5th. Professional groom and licenced farrier Andrew Skinner from EIAF... reported - horses travelled well and were relaxed throughout the journey. These horses had the plane to themselves and were really easy to deal with before, during and after the flight. #EIAFtransported #yourhorseisourpriority#kingstontownclassic
