20.01.2022 Over the last weekend i was able to learn with the amazing sharon may davis! We dissected a TB that raced and was retired at 3yrs, he was ridden on and off and the latest owner tried everthing to get him right... unfortunately he was a head shaker and we discovered many many problems with him, both front fet locks where chipped, almost every joint in the legs had undergone some pathological change, kissing spine, SIJ rubbing, and the biggest finding of them all was the stern...omandibular muscle splitting and inserting on both the manible and the skull! Explains why he could never be quite right! Very important to remember horses compensate for anything uncomfortable, and the second most important thing is they have a really high pain threshold, if they are showing signs of discomfort then they probably have something going! We can never stop learning! See more

17.01.2022 Paul Owens an equine Dentist that sedates and thoroughly examines each individual tooth of the horse! He gives a general health check over and does any dirty jobs (sheath cleaning) all inclusive of the cost! He is extremely knowledgable and so generous with his time! Definitely worth investing in!
