25.01.2022 Horses, unlike humans, are free from judgement. Because horses are incredibly attuned to their environment, they are able to analyze and react to our non verbal cues such as body language and emotional states. This unique feedback gives insight into the areas within ourselves and our lives that challenge us, giving the push that is needed for personal growth.

24.01.2022 Are you leading your life or is it leading you? Working with horses reconnects us to the powerful resources of our nonverbal, animal nature - intuition, intention & curiosity. With this, we can develop greater awareness to respond with choice rather than react to the pressures of our lives. @briannagh.clare

21.01.2022 By nature, we as humans live in a constant state of " '"; Imagine if we took in each moment exactly as it was without self-judgment, how much more at peace we would feel in life.

20.01.2022 Trauma... A word that carries significant weight, yet we are often unable to string the right sentence together to express the emotion caused by the trauma. Horse provide a safe space for healing to take place. Emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

20.01.2022 Awareness allows for authentic relationship and helps us to be more in touch with reality rather than being hijacked by our projections. It’s very freeing to be in the present moment

19.01.2022 Working with horses in a therapeutic setting is becoming a widely popular practice due to its unique approach. Clients may find themselves vulnerable when trying to open up about emotional challenges, past experiences, or life transitions and at times this can impact an individual's confidence. Working with horses can offer a reference point to use for processing these emotions, building confidence when these experiences or emotions arise outside the therapeutic settings.

11.01.2022 "When entering lockdown, it took us time to find ways of coping, so we should also expect it to take some time for us to find our way back. With the recent easing of restrictions now offering us a first real look at a ‘COVID-normal’ life, how can we support our mental wellbeing? Connecting with nature is one of the key pillars of supporting your mental health." Some insightful, timely and supportive words from EAL Practitioner, Maelani Mills of Equine Ananda https://www.equineananda.com/blog/lockdown-recovery

11.01.2022 When we don't look after our mental health, the burdens that life unloads can become overwhelming. Here are a few tips to help: Take care of yourself: Take time for yourself every day; it is crucial to set boundaries and take focused time to recharge.... Exercising is also a great way to clear your head and can even improve your sleep. Disconnect: stay in the present moment, turn off notifications, step away from computers, and put phones aside. Build courage and fight the stigma: Acknowledging and talking about your mental health is not a weakness. It will only help you get to know yourself better. Build a good support network: Find people you trust and who you can talk to honestly about how you are feeling. Seek help: If the weight becomes too much to bear, don’t hesitate about looking for professional help.

01.01.2022 With over 3 million Australians battling with mental health, it's important to take a moment to self-reflect on how you are coping with life and self-care to overcome life's challenges. Self-reflection and self-care are important to maintaining a healthy mindset; rather than letting a state of emotion run your day, you are able to take your power back and overcome challenging obstacles in life.
