25.01.2022 Kaladhar Voruganti, vice president of Technology Innovation and senior fellow at Equinix, contributed to a blog post in which industry experts shared their predictions for 2018. One such suggestion is a surge in the application of subsea cable networks, with construction costs expected to exceed $2 billion in 2018 for the third consecutive year. Mr. Voruganti highlights adds customers of subsea systems that land inside Equinix data centers that support this model get direct, low-latency access to the numerous industry ecosystems also hosted by Equinix.
