You have given us the opportunity to create change in the lives of your community and those around us. To our staff and volunteers who have shown such passion and commitment to serving the community over these years. You are truely cherished and we will be forever grateful, thank you for being apart of of our team and creating... life long memories. It has definitely been a challenging time and we are saddened the Lighthouse store chapter has come to a close but Equip Community Services are excited for the new chapter ahead. A new beginning. 16.01.2022 So the future is bright, we are still continuing as Equip Community Services. Work for the Dole programmes and Job Seeker education programmes. Equip Food pantry, Emergency relief, Debt education programmes, Homeless relief and our Brighter Christmas Appeal and many more for the future. Try and flip it into a positive mind set. Every time you feel yourself giving into these emotions, pick up the phone and send some love to someone. Smile at the neighbours or say hi to passers by when your gardening out the front yard. Go for a walk and really tak...e time to look around at the beauty. Pay it forward to someone in the supermarket. Give your time and energy into something positive. No matter how small you may think it is, it could make a big difference in the day of another. We know this time is hard and its ok to have these feelings, we just want to encourage you not to stay in that head space. Reach out if your struggling, we are here to hopefully brighten your day.
