09.01.2022 Just a reminder how important it is to have the built up creosote removed. Creosote is unburnt fuel and with enough fuel inside the flue or brick chimney can ignite. Annual maintenance is vital to reduce the risk of a chimney/flue fire.

Stonework and suspended wood-fires go hand in hand 35mm stack-stone on 25mm cement sheeting with 20mm air-gap, the air gap for ventilation and to allow any combustionable materials to remain cool during use of the wood-fire.
