25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, as you know we run a finance business and will list information for you here. If you need more personal questions answered send me a PM. At this moment banks are offering some options for home loan clients. 3 things currently available: 1. Change repayments to interest only 2. Request a deferral on payments for 6 months (bearing in mind the interest will accrue) 3. Move to a fixed rate. Some 2 year fixed rates are around 2.29%... If you would like our assistance, just call or email. See more

24.01.2022 The percentage of Australian household disposable income being diverted to housing assets (paying off home loans) hasnt been this high in 3 decades. Give me a call if you need help getting on top of your home loan 0402 684 199 Jaeneen

24.01.2022 Check your insurance premiums either outside or inside super. You may be able to drop the premiums down for the moment and save money. You may be able to claim on your Income Protection. Call your insurance company or broker. No point paying premiums if you are not covered!! Get your statements out and read them. Also talk to them about dropping your management fees in your super. Save where you can.

23.01.2022 A lot can happen in 5 years but at 2.99%, your home loan doesn't have to. Call Jaeneen on 0402 684 199 and find out about a better way to manage your home loan.

22.01.2022 Happy Financial New Year everyone. Financially speaking It's 2020! Yes another one has gone by. What were you wins (and maybe losses) for 2019. Plan ahead and set your goals to get 2020 off to a great start.

21.01.2022 If you have redraw on your mortgage you can draw those funds up to use for your expenses now. If you have savings elsewhere place it in an offset account against your mortgage to reduce the interest on your home loan. Every little bit counts.

20.01.2022 Now is the time to take control of your personal finances

20.01.2022 With regards to repayment holiday on your mortgage in Australia, please be advised that your repayment per month does not have to be paid and only the interest and fees will capitalise on the loan amount. For example, you owe $200k and your principal and interest repayment is $1,000 per month. The interest portion is $500. At the end of the 6 months, you will owe $203,000 plus fees. You will not have to pay the $6,000 at the end of the 6 months. It will not accrue as repayment in full. You will pick up the P&I repayments and your term will be adjusted so your repayment does not change. (Please contact me to discuss your personal circumstances)

14.01.2022 If you chose to put your mortgage repayments on hold, just remember the amount will accrue. So if you can, keep your repayments up or switch to paying the interest only as a minimum. Look at all options don't ignore this.

12.01.2022 If you are a small business and have no employees (so just you), you are eligible to apply for the Job Keeper payment (companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders). Your turnover must have dropped by 30% over 1 month (easy to calculate, otherwise call your Accountant). You must register with the ATO online. The first payment will be received the first week of May, $1500 per fortnight for 6 months from March. Parliament is sitting on Wednesday this week to pass these measures. So get onto the ATO site and register today.

10.01.2022 Brisbane continues its transformation from big country town into one of the world's most livable and desirable cities

09.01.2022 For health insurance holders, funds are dropping premiums and placing some on hold. Great news. Also if you transfer to another fund with the same or lesser insurance, they are not allowed by law to make you start your waiting period again. It is transferrable.

09.01.2022 If your income has been put on hold, what is happening with your super contributions? If you have life insurance in your super make sure you have enough money to cover your premiums, otherwise you will lose your life insurance. Get the statement out now and call them or your Insurance broker before all is lost. Better to reduce it (premiums) rather than lose it (insurance).

09.01.2022 If you are worried that your funds will not hold out, look at accessing $10k from your super in this financial year and then another $10k July 1. There will be no tax paid on this amount. But make sure the funds are used to pay your bills, ie mortgage, rent, etc. You have 3 months to consider this.

08.01.2022 We are receiving many calls from customers who are stressing during this time. They don't know what is ahead for them financially. Please consider some small steps to help you through this. 1. Sit down and look at your current expenses. What can you reduce, eg, dropping your extras on your health insurance. 2. What expenses do you pay for monthly that you can cut out now, ie Foxtel. 3. Make a plan. What is important to keep and not. If it's not necessary, cut it out. 4. Duri...ng isolation consider the money you are saving on the things you normally outsource. Look at how much you are saving and pat yourself on the back. Use these saved funds to pay towards essentials. 5. Know the difference between wants and needs.Keep the needs only. 6. Try not to panic about the things that haven't happened yet. Planning is the key to everything. We are just a phone call away, call me if you need to chat. Talking about it is better in the long run. Take care See more

08.01.2022 SMSF numbers have tripled over the past two decades and assets held within them now represent a third of Australias total superannuation pool, according to new ATO statistics

07.01.2022 If you have rewards attached to your credit card, cash it in now and get some funds/vouchers. Then cancel your rewards program and move to a lower interest rate. You will save about 7-10% on your interest rate with your credit card. You may also find that your annual fee is less or waived.
