21.01.2022 Tech Connect - Laptops for Disadvantaged Youth This initiative is called Tech Connect and has been created in partnership by Perth Global Shapers and Edmund Rice Centre WA. We are aiming to raise $6100 to cover the cost of 61 newly refurbished Macbooks for these families. If you are unable to contribute funds to this campaign that is alright. We are also seeking in-kind device donations from those who also share a goal of equipping young people with digital tools to learn and connect during COVID-19.

20.01.2022 The Advanced Leadership Camp is held every year as part of Edmund Rice Centre WA's Leadership Programs. We took some of our aspiring youth leaders on this journey to seek knowledge and unlock their potential as they go through the different stages of their life. They covered some aspects of Leadership such as potential, commitment, perseverance, sufferings and Difficulties and the basis of it was through the Life of Edmund Rice. 19.01.2022 This morning we were sad to find yet another plant missing from our native garden beds. Perviously it had only been some minor damage, but now it's come to theft we're taking further measures to protect the plants. It's important to note that these plants will not survive being dug up and replanted elsewhere, aside from it being extremely disrespectful, removing them so forcefully after they've established themselves means they're doomed to death. Please if you are in the area keep an eye out for our beautiful garden, these plants have been put in to brighten the environment for everyone, and it's heartbreaking to have to contend with this.

09.01.2022 2020 has come with some unexpected events and continues to surprise us all. The WA community however has demonstrated the importance of love, patience, kindness, and support during these uncertain times. We were fortunate to be able to run our annual multicultural Harmony Cup carnival this year on the 30th of September, at Barry Britton Reserve, Balga. This could not have been accomplished without the support and help from the families and friends of our participants, the W...A community, stakeholders, and the Edmund Rice Centre team. This year the carnival celebrated the 10th year anniversary of the Edmund Rice Lions, the first Multicultural AFL program in the country. Established in 2010 with the support from West Australian Football Commission, with the intent to introduce, engage, develop, and create pathways for CaLD communities through the Australian game. The event showcased the multicultural AFL talent coming through the ERCWA AFL Programs. With curtain raiser from the Edmund Rice junior team versing Swan District followed by ERC Academy teams versing Swan District youth, all teams played a spectacular game.
