23.01.2022 As a practical component of the Year 8 Geography topic Water in The World, the boys along with Mr Tyler explored the nearby creeks and collected all the rubbish which had washed into it. The two creeks running past the college eventually join up with Fairy Creek and flow into the lagoon at North Wollongong so the students' efforts not only helped improve our local environment but also prevented lots of plastic from entering the ocean. This initiative coincided with ERA for Change 28 day Climate Justice campaign, with one focus on keeping waterways clean.
