13.01.2022 Over the last two weeks, I have taken calls from clients who are getting more and more stressed about their businesses. I have gone from marketing to just trying to keep them afloat during a shutdown. I’ve gone from creating social media posts to advising clients on the best way to rake their business online. I have listened to their every fear and concern and I can’t help but feel so helpless. No-one is above this, not a single industry isn’t being impacted in some way. 10.01.2022 Dear Clients and Followers, Some of you have asked why it is I haven’t posted with regards to the #coronavirus and the truth is I am hesitant. This week I have had an influx of clients who are uncertain and scared of what the virus means for them and their business. I have also had clients who are under so much pressure due to other companies not understanding the position that they have been put in. They aren’t able to give a definite answer because they aren’t getting an an...swer themselves. To help prevent the spread of the virus I have decided to enter into self-isolation and therefore all face-to-face meetings will be held via FaceTime (or equivalent). I have thought long and hard about the stance the business will take. I want you all to understand that I am also going to take a hit. In fact, I am preparing and expecting it - would be foolish of me not to. I am a start up and currently the government has nothing in place to help freelancers and micro businesses like myself. But I do feel strongly in standing together as a community. I am offering all my clients a reduced rate while they are still able to operate as usual. When and IF your business goes into isolation please contact me - we can make an arrangement that suits your needs. Marketing is so important - now more than ever. This situation is unprecedented and unpredictable. There was a time when we stood together to help the bushfire crisis. Now the corona-crisis is ripping us apart and it is heartbreaking. Advert content writing is no child’s play. You need to write in a way that engages with the target audience, has a catchy headline and avoids over-selling.... 01.01.2022 This week has been AMAZING. One of my posts for @nitpickersperth was re-posted by an Instagram influencer in Baldivis who has over 13k followers.... 13K FOLLOWERS say WHAT?! I wish I could take full credit for this but it wouldn't be fair. Sherri works so hard running the business and constantly sending me amazing content and coming up with wonderful ideas. This is the result of some brilliant teamwork and we are both so jazzed!... My other client has reached 455 likes on their Facebook page! When I first started back in November they had 150 likes on Facebook. WOW! I just completed my first Copywrite for an innovative company here in WA and I cannot wait to see how they progress and grow. Very much looking forward to doing more work with them.
