18.01.2022 With TOG-rated sleepwear, you do not need additional blankets in your child’s sleep space. A TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a unit of measurement for insulation and warmth of sleepwear and bedding. Put simply, the lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the rating, the more padded and insulated it is. You would choose a suitable TOG based on the temperature of the room your child is sleeping in. ergoPouch TOGs are suitable for the belo...w room temperatures: 0.2 & 0.3 TOG = 75 degrees C+ 1.0 TOG = 70 degrees F 75 degrees F 2.5 TOG = 63 degrees F 73 degrees F 3.5 TOG = 57 degrees F 70 degrees F To take the guesswork out of dressing your little one for sleep, please check our room temperature and What to Wear Guide that free with every pouch to help you decide the right TOG rating, and how to layer underneath. #ergoPouch #SleepNaturally #OnlyNaturalFabrics #SafeSleep #TOG See more

14.01.2022 Our Spring Must Have Item Spring brings us warmer days but also some chilly nights, which throws a lot of parents off, not knowing how to dress your baby for sleep. The ideal is dressing your baby in the right warmths and layers to ensure they sleep safely and also avoid waking up from being too cold, or worse, overheating. Our Arm Warmers are a bolero style jacket, designed to be used over the top of any arms-out sleeping Swaddle, Sleeping Bag, Sleep Suit or Sleep ...Onesie. If your baby is wearing a sleeveless sleeping bag, you may notice their arms feeling cool during the coldest hours of the night. If this is causing them to wake, a little more warmth on the arms may be needed. The sleeves on the Arm Warmers are rated 1.0 TOG making them suitable as a mid-weight layer, and the fold-over cuffs will help keep hands warm too. We recommend the Arm Warmers are only used over a sleeveless sleeping bag, not one with sleeves. This will help your child maintain a comfortable temperature whilst sleeping and ensure they do not overheat. Hot tip - on transeasonal nights when it is warm at bed time but cools down during the course of the night, put your baby to sleep in their sleeping bag as normal, and add the Arm Warmers later in the evening before you go to bed. The position of the Arm Warmers on the body will not interrupt the natural sleeping position for healthy hip joint development. #ergoPouch #SleepNaturally #OnlyNaturalFabrics #ArmWarmers #SpringSleeps #Baby #Toddler #SafeSleep See more
