23.01.2022 ERGT’s Darwin Training Centre hosted over a hundred students from 16 schools throughout the Northern Territory, as part of The Science Experience program, proudly supported by ConocoPhillips and Santos: Proudly Australian and organised by Charles Darwin University Secondary School Liaison and Learning Pathway. It is designed to give career inspiration for year 9 students who are at a pivotal age and respond well to exceptional learning exposure, leading them to make a well-in...formed career choice. Our experienced trainers got the fire ground buzzing with over 20 activities encompassing elements of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The students also got the opportunity to watch simulated practical safety training to gain a better understanding of the importance of workplace safety, incident response, safety leadership skills and knowledge. These were relevant to a range of industries including Oil and Gas, Maritime, Mining, Aviation, Industrial, Construction and the Defence Force. It was humbling to support this program, inspiring the future generation in choosing their career path. We wish them all the best for the future.

18.01.2022 As part of ERGT's ongoing drive to provide high quality training facilities we have renovated the pool at our Melbourne training centre. Since 2014, over 6,000 trainees working in the Oil & Gas and Maritime industry have completed training in the pool - an impressive run! The pool is now open for critical safety training, with a range of measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can read more about the safeguards we've put in place on our website https://ergt.edu.au/
