19.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!! As some of you know by now, we just about to introduce a new tool to help us help YOU! The VLA Quadscan BIA device. The Quadscan is a Bio-impedance analysis (BIA)device. BIA stands for bioelectrical impedance analysis, a safe, non-invasive (radiation free, unlike DEXA), body composition and cellular health assessment. ... The VLA Quadscan will allow us to assess several parameters related to body composition, hydration and fluid status. It gives insight beyond total body weight, determining if weight gain or loss is due to changes in lean body mass, fat mass or fluid changes (very common, specially amongst females). It also gives us insight of your cellular health, function and integrity. Phase Angle for example, is a biomarker of ageing, and has been used to assess the health status in patients with various diseases states in clinical settings and hospitals. See more
