22.01.2022 So hopefully without giving too much information away I'll get some photos of the gorgeous grounds we have been allowed to park our campervan on through the generosity of one of the mindahome housesittees. 3 acres of orchards, fruit trees, and lovely pond with waterlilys. In lieu of some help in the gardens and lawns. Very exciting... we will move there just before Christmas.... After that we have an 11 day house sit locally with a beautiful placid Great Dane who we met today along with his owners. Thanks mindahome.

20.01.2022 We are house sitting in Coffs Harbour for 3 weeks Ringo is a beautiful cattle dog cross - building muscle on our walks (me, not him) Stu has taken 4 days out to look after Pippi and Pongo in Woolgoolga, so I’m manning the fort. The owners house is filled with wonderful aboriginal artwork- permission to show some. Here until 2/3 Feb.

13.01.2022 A hop skip and jump over to Moonee Beach to look after Marley and the girls - Norma and Jean. Oh, not to forget the resident Bush Turkey helping himself to the mulch across the road Here till 11th February...

13.01.2022 I've been using 3 different house sitting websites to apply for house sitting jobs... I have to say MindaHome out do the other 2 by a mile - in terms of the amount of daily jobs that come in (up to and sometimes exceeding 10 a day for NSW and Queensland alone - compared to 2-3 most days for the other sites) Very easy website to navigate, and I have gotten great results so far! This post is about MindaHome... the next is about our house sitting adventure beginning!!!

07.01.2022 Our first campervan experience took us to Gumba Gumba reserve - eventually, after a trek into Scott's Head resulting from Gumba Gumba being full and busy upon first arrival. Stu fished at every river, we made hamburgers (no fish) at Scotts Head beach reserve, and just chilled for the day. I had taken some material so sewed (dreams of curtaining the whole camper...ended up being a cushion) while Stu fished to his. After a billy tea and nuts we hit the hay - short of our own bed this actually wasn't too bad at all, if slightly on the firm side. On Sunday we packed up early and spent the morning at Valla with more fishing and collecting of the tiny wee pipi shells that all conveniently had a small hole ripe for needle and thread. We got home about 3pm - cleaned out the very dirty van and prepared it for round 2.
