25.01.2022 Everyone has made a massive effort in our two teams What will the results tell us when we finish Monday night???

25.01.2022 So proud of this group of kids - a group that started last year as a once off that still runs fortnightly! We all have an amazing time and have seen such progress in the kids confidence and communication - and now out and about every session at different places using our words verbally or through AAC or signing Some lovely friendships developing in the group as well. Today’s session was planned for the Zoo but it unfortunately wasn’t open so a snack, a walk down to check out the river and the boats with chats along the way, then back for some cricket and soccer

25.01.2022 Our therapy team have been working hard and have done 285 108 steps from Tuesday to Sunday evening :) Client team update will be posted later in the week

21.01.2022 A sad farewell to Hiba this week Hiba has been a wonderful part of our little team over the past 18mths and we are sad to say goodbye! We wish her all the best for her future OT endeavours and her upcoming wedding and interstate move

21.01.2022 STEPtember Update ....... The therapy team has pulled ahead on steps, however the client team has pulled ahead on fundraising!!!!! We are now halfway through our STEPtember challenge - 2 weeks down and 2 weeks to go ... Who’s going to win???

20.01.2022 STEPtember results are in: Therapists claimed the steps total win with each of our members getting their goal steps this year Clients claimed the fundraising win by about $200 ... A big shout out to David from our client team who clocked up 809830 steps (averaging 28922 steps per day) in the 28 days!!!! And also completed majority of the fundraising for his team Awesome effort Everyone is already keen for next years - and we have some little people keen to make a kids team to vs us next year as well!!!

20.01.2022 Holiday works all complete now Charm City Carpet and Pest Control come and cleaned up the office carpets this morning ready for 2021 and Geoff did a great job fixing up our fence panelling to stop the balls getting under the building for another year again

09.01.2022 This morning our communication group headed to Bandwagon Music Lessons for a session with Cameron!!!! Everyone was excited and learnt a lot from Cameron - practising using AAC systems to describe and request throughout the session - maraccas, bells and drums today with Cameron accompanying on guitar A big thank you to Cameron for today, as well as to Sarah from Flourish Speech Pathology who come over to lend a hand for the group as well

02.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon our Communication Group celebrated Isaac’s birthday at the park! Great time with party food, cake and party games was had by all.

01.01.2022 As per QLD Health rulings released today - mask wearing for anyone 12 years and over is mandatory in all indoor public settings, as well as outdoor settings where social distancing can’t be maintained, from 5pm today. This will mean that when visiting the office you will need to wear a mask. Also if you have been in Brisbane from and including the 20th March, please ring us ASAP to set up telehealth or reschedule as able. If you have been in Brisbane in this time period you will also be included in the greater Brisbane lockdown and unable to attend face-to-face appointments. Thanks for your assistance:)

01.01.2022 Here’s our STEPTEMBER teams steps so far!!! We are now just over a week into the four week competition :) The therapists are winning at present
