25.01.2022 In S1/2D, we have been sharing all the information we have found about different living things. Elsie researched penguins and Riley entertained us all with great information about coyotes! It was very interesting to look at the Port Jackson shark egg that Jude brought in to show us all. All students who have presented this week have done an excellent job with their projects! Well done! In literacy groups, Cooper came up with reasons why an emu would make a great pet, writing with our new class Christmas Pen. Walking out to lunch, I saw Isla, Poppy and Abbey (from S2B) sitting so happily, enjoying their lunch. As always, I’m so proud of the wonderful students we have at EHPS.

14.01.2022 S1/2D have loved reading the book Emu by Claire Saxby. We have learnt so many interesting facts about emus. It was a lot of fun to create our own bright and colourful emus for our classroom. We have also been learning and preparing for Remembrance Day.

10.01.2022 'It hasn’t been easy, but look what we’ve produced!' Thank you to all our students, teachers, school staff and parents and carers who have made this a year to remember. See you next year for #FirstDay2021! #LoveWhereYouLearn *Posted by the NSW Department of Education*

08.01.2022 After reading Shaun Tan’s Cicada, S1/2D decided to research this interesting insect. Did you know that cicadas live underground for 17 years? When they emerge, they molt their exoskeleton and only live a further 14 days as a flying insect. It was fun to draw, then paint, our own cicadas!

08.01.2022 It's meant to be a toasty 34 degrees tomorrow so please remember drink bottles.
