Poor darling was shaking and hiding in a corner ... but it didn't take long until she joined the other two for cuddles and a play with me and of course dinner! 13.01.2022 Meet Toby new Team Member -now helping making your life easier! We all hear about people struggling with mental health due to all sorts of reasons; especially now, during the Corona crisis, loneliness is an issue, which is really sad. Children with intellectual disabilities also struggle with the isolation and change of routines. But we also know that animals can make a big difference in the life of these people. Just by being present an animal can make a struggling perso...n feeling much less alone and can give life a purpose. I have been thinking about this situation for a while until I heard from a fellow personal concierge in Canada, and how her dog is helping to make people happy by visiting them and I thought Toby can do that, too! Here is some info about Toby: Toby came to us from Red Collar Rescue when he was about two years old. He had been in the shelter for quite some time. He is a Bullarab x Great Dane and has now been part of our family for nearly five years. He is big but gentle and calm and just loves cuddles. 08.01.2022 The other day I had a rather unusual enquiry: "Do you clean chandeliers?" Of course Errands 'n Things is known for helping people with all sorts of things, so the answer was: "I haven't done it before but I will certainly give it a go!" Unfortunately I missed taking 'before' pictures as the 'before' and 'after' was astonishing! From a cobweb and grime covered chandelier with missing and ill-attached pieces, on which the crystals had lost their sparkle some time ago, and which... was at some stage home to a big huntsman spider (evidenced by its body still dangling off the crystals!) to a beautiful, sparkling and complete chandelier! The owner of this chandelier was rather impressed and happy with the results, so I ended up taking care of the other three chandeliers in her home as well. Today she is one of my regular clients So, if you have any of those odd jobs, that have been waiting for your attention for a while, feel free to contact Mica to see if she can take it off your hands!
