Whilst we can't have everyone test our rooms, we hope that by improving our rooms with testing we can provide the best experience for anyone who attempts an Escape Zone room. We will be testing our next room 'Meltdown', a hard difficulty room, in the near future, so keep an eye out for our next call for testers!

For those using public transport, the Belford Street at Torpey Place bus stop is at the front of the building and Broadmeadow station is a short walk away!

15.01.2022 Happy Holidays We hope everyone stays safe and has a great holiday season! Escape Zone will be open with mostly regular hours, however we will have shorter trading hours on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. For those who escape our holiday-themed room ‘Holiday Heist’ this holiday season there will be a holiday treat, whilst supplies last!

15.01.2022 Meltdown! Now Open! Our tester groups braved the Meltdown! room, yet none could save Newcastle before time ran out! Testing has shown us the hard difficulty rating of the room is justified. The testers encountered many different kinds of challenging puzzle, and were able to overcome them with logic and teamwork. We identified and fixed two puzzles which all tester teams deemed 'unfair' or 'nearly impossible' to ensure our room is fun, as well as hard.... The fastest tester group solved 60% of the final puzzle before 60 minutes was up! Can you do better? Bookings for Meltdown are now Open!

14.01.2022 Sneak Peak Construction of our Meltdown! room is nearly complete! In this room, you and your team must prevent a nuclear meltdown. Your team will be playing as trapped scientists and the emergency response team sent to save Newcastle!... Could it be Sabotage? Bad Luck? Poor Maintenance? Or something more sinister?

03.01.2022 We are doing what we can to provide a Covid-Safe space. Each room reset, between each booking, includes cleaning touch points within the room,. The simulator is also cleaned between bookings. Hand sanitiser is also available at reception.... If you have Covid-19 symptoms on the day of your booking, call us and we will happily reschedule your booking to keep everyone safe!
